Swords and Scribbles
You may have heard the legendary story of the absolutely terrible Percy Jackson movies. If you have been unfortunate enough to watch one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my entire twelve years on this earth, I deeply pity you. For now, forget about the movie.
The Percy Jackson books are actually only the first five in the demigods saga. I'm not sure if that is the actual name, but for now it is. The saga consists of five main series. This is as chronological as I can figure.
1 Percy Jackson And The Olympians
2 the Kane Chronicles
3 The Heroes Of Olympus
4 The Trials Of Apollo
5 Magnus Chase And The Gods Of Asgard
These may sound pagan, but personally I enjoy them. I have some friends who think they're repetitive, and maybe they are, but they are some of the funniest books I've ever read. As long as you don't start sacrificing chickens, you should be ok. I don't believe in gods, plural, but it is funny what those psycho greeks come up with. The first series follows a son of Poseidon as he quests around killing stuff. The second series is about a pair of siblings who save the world. The third is about the solving of a prophecy of ghastly proportions. The fourth is about a god who loses his powers and is trying to get them back. The fifth is about a dead warrior and a valkyrie. Let me know if you read them.
p.s. If you've read Magnus Chase, can you give your opinion on whether you think he'll get his life back in the new one. Also, do you think that he is in love with Alex?
Later update: Unfortunately, younger self, Magnus is still dead. Relationship with Alex comfirmed
