The Truth Behind "Gates And Fences"

You may have been wondering if my middle name is Fences. Nope. I named it this because we all have fences in our life, and I like to recognize what type of screw is needed to take them down, both figuratively and literally. Also, the obvious pun.

Besides, who wants their entire life to be in a tiny pasture? If we were meant to be contained, we would have been born with leashes. We need to experience things. Then we will learn to be nice, content, and not eat too much fruit. That is the way of the world. That is how God designed it. I am not huge into philosophy or stuff like that, but I've been alive long enough to know that ignorance is only bliss if you want a small life. And some may want that. And some may not. And the truth doesn't always make things better, but it generally makes things clearer. Of course, some exceptions apply.

The truth is a curious thing. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it makes things better. Sometimes it's a dumb random fact that you already knew.

The truth behind "Gates And Fences" is my desire to know how good I am as a writer ( because grandparents aren't entirely truthful when it comes to loved ones), and my love for spouting on endlessly about miscellaneous randomness.

So that is the big confession.

I hope the truth doesn't hurt.
