Happy Birthday!!!

Here we are, about to celebrate Jesus's birthday. It might be rude for me to mention another one.

I'm gonna anyway.

My mom just turned forty!

Here is a small ode to Emilie Gates (to the tune of silence.)

Mom, you are the best mom in the world, and I hope you don't change.

No matter what, you are always there for me.

You help me with my brothers, my blog, and just life in general.

You went through so much for us, and you suffer through 16 kids in your house just for my book club.

You always help me with school, and Liam, and Bryant, and most of the time Hunter too. You always seem to know what to say to make me happy.

You help me to be a better person. I really hope I can be a tenth of you when I grow up.

I love you mom. Happy birthday!
